Fun
At GPN we want to make sure that everyone is having a great time! Whether you’re writing your first line of code, having a chat with one of our great tutors, or solving a computing puzzle we want you to come away feeling happy and excited to do it again.
Aspirational and Relevant
We want GPN to be a place where students can see how they can change the world with technology, and what their journey in computer science might look like. Our coding projects and activities give students an authentic programming experience and teach them about real world applications of computer science. Our diverse tutor team has members at all stages on their coding journey, from uni students to industry professionals in many STEM sectors, and inspire and support in planning any part of your tech journey.
Challenging
Our content and activities are designed to give every GPN student (and tutor) an accessible challenge, to help take their coding skills to the next level. Whether it’s your first time coding, or you’ve been coding for years, our special projects and awesome team of tutors will help you take the next step in your coding journey!
Diverse
Who wants to be in a room where everyone thinks just like you? Not us, that’s for sure! At GPN we don’t just want the master programmers, we want the newbies, the teachers, the mums, the people with different perspectives that have helped make GPN what it is today. Whether you live and breathe technology, just think it’s a cool way to pass the time while you wait for your latest baking creation to come out the oven, or a fun thing to do when your soccer game is cancelled by bad weather, we want to help you build your skills!
Social
Everyone knows that everything is better with friends! We encourage everyone to be social in every aspect of our events, from helping each other with projects, to solving puzzles as teams, to finding new friends and mentors at lunch!

It’s in our name and it’s in our values! GPN is really a network of hundreds of connected students and tutors across all of Australia. Wherever you go you’ll have the support of the GPN Community behind you!
