Coding workshops for high school girls and gender minorities

Whether you’re just starting out or you’re a programming pro, we’re sure you’ll have a great time at GPN!

Each school term around Australia we run free, full-day programming workshops hosted by local technologists and teachers. Our events are all about learning together, making new friends and having fun with tech.

What do we do?

The Events

We run workshops that teach high school students programming. During our workshops we teach you everything you need to know to build an awesome project and have a great time doing it!

At a GPN workshop you’ll be learning cool new things, playing games, solving fun computation puzzles, handing out with our great mentors and making new friends (not to mention eating a tonne of snacks).

The Tutors

All of our events are run by our amazing volunteer tutors who have a wide range of experiences with programming. From uni students to IT professionals, mums, teachers, coding hobbyists and beyond, anyone can be a GPN tutor!

The one thing all our tutors have in common? A passion for helping the next generation of programmers, mentoring our students and continuing to grow in their own skills and development.
